Handmade in Germany: The Days of the German Manufacturers attracted more than 7,000 visitors

The Days of the German Manufacturers (Tage der Manufakturen) enchanted more visitors this year as never before. In a sunny autumn weather, more than 7,000 people came to the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM) and were amazed at the performances and products of over 50 German manufacturers.


For the first time the exhibition and performance show "Handmade in Germany" was supplemented by the special exhibition for gentlemen's culture, "Handmade for Men". Men, who love high-quality and authentic products, came here to get their money’s worth and could be pampered in the barber shop, the whiskey tasting, the tailor or the hatter.


A further highlight were the hand-made delicacies on the food market in the courtyard of the KPM. Again in 2018 the initiative German Manufactories Initiative will bring together manufacturers and artisans to this by now most important branch meeting. The date will be announced soon.
