"Handmade-in-Germany" is synonymous with hand-made products of outstanding value, quality and authenticity. The German Manufactories Initiative – Handmade in Germany seeks to represent German manufactories’ commitment to superior quality with the confidence they inspire.
The initiative represents both classical trades and manufacturers of extraordinary products. It comprises small artisan workshops as well as large family businesses with a centuries-old tradition. Craftsmanship, outstanding value and love for detail are inherent to all of our manufactories, and it is these aspects that give their products their distinctly luxurious quality – handmade in Germany.
Since 2014, every year in September the Initiative Deutsche Manufakturen has been inviting to the manufactory event in Berlin. In 2017 more than 7,000 visitors took advantage of this unique opportunity to discover 26 important German manufacturers and their handmade products.
