Burmester Audiosystems is the “up-and-comer of the year” in 2013`s ranking about luxurious brands


Burmester Audiosystems has improved its position by eight places and now is rated fourth in a ranking of luxurious brands, published by the German magazine Wirtschaftswoche in March 2014. Referring to this ranking, Wirtschaftswoche quotes Alexander Biesalski, the head of the study, that German handcrafted luxurious technic enjoys worldwide recognition. For the luxurious brands index 163 industry experts were surveyed on topics such as the attractiveness of the brand.

In his manufacture in Berlin, Burmester and his team have been aiming for the perfect sound experience for over 35 years. “Art for the ear” is their motto. Even Bugatti and Porsche were convinced by the audio systems and and decided to equip their cars with Burmester systems. Burmester’s pieces of artwork also warrant a high-end-audio experience in the new Mercedes S-Class.

Burmester Audio systems as well as the other 19 members of the Initiative German Manufactories stand for the exceptionally high quality and authenticity of products “Handmade-in-Germany”. Dieter Burmester, managing director of Burmester Audio systems, was one of the first founding members. The initiative combines common interests and stresses the special meaning of manufactures as a very important part of German medium-sized companies and their positive contribution to the world´s view of Germany as an important business location.
