Berlin’s best apprentice works at KPM

The high-quality standards that make our manufactories unique are also reflected in our excellent promotion of young professionals. We are proud to announce that this year’s best apprentice in Berlin comes from our member the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin. Christin Herzig was trained as an industrial ceramicist at the KPM. The manufactory is sending out a strong message in times of fewer young professionals, in the hopes of getting more young people excited for the art of craftsmanship.

The ceremony for the best apprentices in Berlin is held by the IHK on an annual basis. This year’s motto was “Career through training” and was held at the Western Hotel MOA in Moabit – Berlin. The best 89 of 18.000 graduates of this year’s class of vocational education and training were honoured.
